The term “android” is often associated with science-fiction movies, TV series, and books. Remember the time when Captain Kirk of Star Trek Original series would often one in other planets? However, the kind of Android that will be introduced by Google and T-Mobile is something real, and from the looks of it, those who didn’t dare buy the iPhone would heave a sigh of relief for not doing so.

What the Android Is All About
An android came into being simply because their makers want to create something perfect, and it’s impossible to produce such type of human. It seems that’s what Google and T-Mobile wants to accomplish. If you can recall, a lot of people were irate and furious over the fact that open-source applications are not allowed in Apple’s iPhone. Google saw an opportunity in such a possibly huge market and came up with Android. With it, anyone can basically upload an application, document, or anything that captures his fancy. Think of it as your phone’s equivalent of Youtube, where other Android users can vote or rate.

You can then couple it with the newest and perhaps the most innovative phone from T-Mobile. It will feature a touch screen very similar to an iPhone, but the keypads can be swiveled out, and there will be a track ball that mimics that of Blackberry to help you out with your navigation.

The Costs that You Have to Spend
Though not one may have a confirmed news of how much it will cost you to have the Android, rumors are flying that it will be around $400, if you’re getting the Dream. But there are contracted prices, which will be around $150. Perhaps this is going to be a lot for some, considering that iPhones are sold for around $299, but knowing that you can do the tweaking without the word “ban” flashing all over your brain will surely make this anticipated invention worth the price.
