Until Nov. 30, Grimsby businesses can apply for a $2,500 grant to help digitize their business

For Grimsby businesses, the time to go digital is here.

Until Nov. 30, businesses across Grimsby can apply for the Digital Main Street initiative to receive a $2,500 grant to transition their business online.

Since July, over 34 of the town’s businesses have been introduced to online training modules by Grimsby’s Digital Service Squad (DSS), aimed at helping them learn to navigate an online business platform that the money will go toward implementing.

The DSS also provides support for basic website setup, eCommerce, Google My Business and 360º photos, social media, email marketing and search engine optimization.

If required, business owners can meet with DSS virtually through Zoom.
